Traceless is a rock-trio consisting of Derek Ruggia (vocals), Nicole Rodrick (production/keys) and Shaun Mealey (guitar) that formed in late-2018. After finding and perfecting their sound, they aim to push the lines between genre boundaries by fusing post-hardcore rock with ominous synths and catchy edm-influenced elements.
Their influences include Bring Me The Horizon, Slaves and Palisades.
When asked about the story behind “Nothing at All”, Traceless says “Nothing at All is about the feelings of denial, anger and guilt that linger in the back of our minds after a relationship ends. When someone breaks your heart, you question what the time you spent together was even worth. Sometimes it was worth more to you than it was to them. This song was created in order to help us heal from our past heartbreaks and we hope that this song can help others get through heartbreaks that they may be struggling with too.”
