The Mariana Hollow are a powerfully original quintet hailing from Greater London.
Conceived in 2008, the band have independently recorded and released an EP and two albums – Scars, Not Wounds (2013), Velvet Black Sky (2012), and Coma Heart (2010) – to critical acclaim from publications such as Kerrang!, Sonic Cathedral and Rock Sound.
Having cut their live teeth at venues like London’s Islington Academy 1, Scala and the Underworld, TMH have toured with and supported prominent acts like Breed 77 Die So Fluid, BoyHitsCar, The Eden House and Theatre of Tragedy.
New album The Abandoned Parade sees TMH explore new emotional depths, capturing the untamed essence of their live show with a spine-tingling mixture of unrestrained melody, densely woven riffs and epic compositions.

The eerie chant of opening track “Only The Fear” sets up the atmosphere to come. TMH carve an enthralling path through the gloomy tones of “State of Grace”, the stacked harmonies of “Tides” and the upbeat hooks of “Circus”. “Swear to God” drips with the kind of smouldering lead guitar licks rarely heard in mainstream heavy rock, while “Chambers and Valves” radiates mystery and malice. Closing track “Damage Limitation” haunts you long after its final tones have faded away.
There’s an ongoing vulnerability and volatility that offsets the sheer confidence of the band’s songwriting. Throughout, Spinky’s passionate vocals dance effortlessly with the powerful, intricate twin guitar lines of Richie Walden and Gabriel Moreira, underpinned by heavy, mesmerizing rhythms from Scott Chesworth (bass) and Dwight Brady (drums).
